The role

Locomotive driver

As a locomotive driver, you ensure that every load reaches its destination safely and on time. You carry responsibility on the tracks – for yourself, your team and our clients – and work with modern locomotives and modern communication tools. The role involves shift work and travel for work.

We are also looking for wagon inspectors, shunting assistants and hazardous materials officers, as well as experts in dispatching and traffic planning.

Profile

What you bring

Whether you are just getting started or already have experience: at RBP it is not only about your skills, but also about fitting into the team.

Qualification
Class B locomotive driver’s license. Successfully completed training as a railway operations specialist (IHK) in transport and logistics, or a similar qualification.
Deployment
Willingness to work shifts and travel for work.
Working style
Punctual, reliable and meticulous – safety is your top priority.
Responsibility
You know the responsibility you carry on the tracks and take it seriously.
Technology
A keen sense for technical systems and quick adaptation to new technologies – whether locomotives or modern communication tools.
Personality
Flexible and resilient, eager to learn and a team player: a friendly and respectful attitude toward colleagues and clients.

at least €4,000gross after the probation period
€3,450gross minimum during the three-month probation period
  • 25 %night shift bonus (20:00–06:00)
  • 50 %Sunday bonus
